The report, part of the "Energy Efficiency Improvement in Lithuania" project (No. LIFE20 IPC/LT/000002), focuses on improving the modeling process for energy consumption, production, and GHG emissions reduction forecasts. It aims to track the progress made towards the NEKSVP targets related to RES development, EVE enhancement, and GHG emissions reduction.
The report is based on statistical data from Lithuania for the years 2017–2022, as well as modeling data from the Lithuanian Energy Agency for the period 2022–2030 and greenhouse gas emissions reduction data from the Environmental Protection Agency. The report presents key aggregated energy indicators, including primary and final energy consumption, energy savings, the share of renewable energy in total final energy consumption, in the transport sector, electricity consumption, the heating and cooling sector, and GHG emissions reduction forecasts.
