Analysis of Legal Regulation and Incentive Simplification and Clarification (Only in Lithuanian, English summary available)

The Analysis Report of Existing Energy Efficiency Legislation aims to identify preliminary data sources, institutional functions, and connections with energy efficiency, as well as determine the Lithuanian legal acts that need to be amended or newly introduced.

The report has been prepared with the understanding that one of Lithuania’s key priorities in the energy sector is improving energy efficiency throughout the entire energy chain, from energy production to consumption by final users. Enhancing energy efficiency not only promotes business competitiveness but also improves the financial well-being of Lithuanian citizens, reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and decreases environmental air pollutants, thus improving air quality.
