About The Green Procurement Monitoring Tool (Only in Lithuanian, English summary available)
In order to make it easier for procurement officials, suppliers, and all interested parties to find information about the environmental requirements set in green public procurement and the sections of procurement documents where they are established, the Public Procurement Office (PPO) has created a new Power BI tool. The analytical monitoring tool "Green Procurement Based on Information in Procurement Notices" is an interactive tool that provides information based on data submitted by procurement officials in procurement notices regarding environmental requirements in international and simplified (including low-value) procurements.
Using this tool, users can analyze green procurement data from various perspectives based on selected criteria, search for examples of environmental requirements in procurement, and perform an analysis of the application of environmental requirements according to Section 4 of the Procedure Description. For example, the CPV group filter allows users to select one or more CPV groups and monitor what proportion of procurements in the chosen CPV group(s) are being conducted green, the trend of green procurement, which environmental requirements are most frequently applied to these products, and in which procurement documents they are most often specified. The tool also enables searching procurement notices by procurement number, procurement object, procuring entity, environmental requirements, CPV groups, type of procurement object, and more.
The Green Procurement Monitoring Tool is available on the PPO website: Statistics and Analysis → Thematic Public Procurement Analyses → Green Procurement Based on Information in Procurement Notices.
Tool structure:
The information in the Green Procurement Monitoring Tool is provided in five Power BI reports:
• Green Procurement Based on Information in Procurement Notices
• Environmental Requirements: Application of Section 4 of the Procedure Description
• Procurement Documents: Application of Section 4 of the Procedure Description
• Notice Search
• Information for Report Users
If necessary, users can contact PPO via email at klausk@vpt.lt for data export.
